The Scott Aerator Slinger De-Icer is a versatile solution for ice prevention, designed to be suspended from a boat, dock, or pilings using the included nylon ropes. By circulating warmer water from the pond or lake bottom and continuously agitating the surface, it effectively removes and prevents ice formation. Its powerful water movement makes it an ideal choice for duck hunting, keeping areas accessible while maintaining a safe and ice-free environment.

The Floating De-Icer suspends approximately 2 feet below the water’s surface and keeps large surface areas open by bringing warmer water from the bottom to the top in a continuous, agitated movement. This prevents ice formation and ensures a safe environment for fish, wildlife, and water access.

For docks, the Dock Mount De-Icer features a heavy-duty stainless steel plate, pipe, and yoke assembly that easily mounts to almost any dock type. Adjustable for different water levels, it prevents ice from lifting or damaging dock pilings by circulating warmer bottom water in a continuous agitation pattern. Under extreme winter conditions, a 1/2 HP model keeps a 50-foot diameter area ice-free, while a 1 HP model covers up to 70 feet.

The Scott Aerator De-Icer Control Box provides durable, reliable temperature-based operation for your de-icer. Pre-set to activate at 30°F and run until temperatures reach 31°F or higher, it ensures optimal ice prevention in cold weather. The control box is fully adjustable from 0° to 80°F and is UL-listed for safety and convenience, giving you precise, worry-free control over your de-icer’s performance.
